I have seen it. It is a very effective spooker with decent special effects for its time. It concerns a group of teenagers who become prey to these creatures which have been locked up in the earth for centuries. Miners first encountered them in the 1800's, as evidenced by a series of newspaper clippings which play out during the opening sequence. Some of the best monster-movie images ever filmed, now cliche but for its time new and chilling, such as the monster view and the I'm Alone In An Unfamiliar House kind of feel, along with the creepy music. The monsters themselves are kind of cheesy, unfortunately, but then you don't see them until the very end, another wonderful 80's monster movie trademark...and very effective, as I pointed out earlier in the review. If you want to watch a great B movie, then rent this one...there are some truly scary moments, and worthy of at least one watching in the dark. Hope I was helpful!
