I don't know about you but I learned more about the bible watching these movies about the son of the devil than anywhere else it seemed - 666 The Number of the Beast. When I hear the name Damien, I immediately think EVIL and no matter how many movies Sam Neill makes, he will always be the anti-christ in my eyes. Too bad they made a 4th one though.

I love The Omen trilogy. We won't count that 4th whatever it was.. I first saw The Omen at the drive-in back in the day at one of those triple feature horror film nights. I think I was checking everyone I knew after that for that 666 mark. This film has great visuals, music and just an overall paranoid atmosphere. And did they pick the perfect kid to play Damion or what? Just those looks he gave... eeeekkk!

hey max, don't count on the omen movies to teach you about the bible. the biblical passages they quote are made up! the books of the bible they mention in this movie don't exsist. you need to go to a bible study lol ;D
you wanna watch a good movie that actually quotes from the book of revelations?....watch ghostbusters!
i liked the first omen movie. very creepy.

I've seen part of the second one a long time ago. I really don't remember much of it. I might pick up the DVD box set eventually.

yep max, it does! lol..there's a scene when the characters winston and ray are in the car, and their talking about all the stuff thats going on. they quote the bible the actual book of revelations, about the end of the world. the coolest line in that scene is when winston says "i love jesus' style."

I beleive the only truth from the bible that the Omen 3 carried, was that a false profit will come to power, and the righteous will trust in him for salvation.
I beleive this refered to Damien as a grown man. Other than that, the series was quite fictional.

Well even if they played fast and loose with the Bible I think they hit it right with the gothic church type music. Not sure if I'm describing it right but when my man was flipping channels today I heard the music and it gave me cold chills for a second. Omen 2 was on AMC and we ended up watching most of it and enjoying a young but still evil looking Lance Henriksen.
