Well, with around 10 years or so of silence, this is the first year the 3 horror icons from the late 70's and early 80's have each a movie scheduled for release. Two of their films have been finished, the other is being worked on. That's right; Michael, Jason, and Freddy.
We have Jason X due out in theaters on April 26, 2002
Halloween: Resurrection comes out on July 19, 2002
And A Nightmare on Elm Street 8 comes out on December 20, 2002. It'll probably be a DTV release though.
Jason X is quite good, and Halloween 8 is getting good reviews. I'll still check it out, but poor Freddy. He has a prequel coming up with his next film.
