Well, with 2001 coming to a close I think it's time to decide which horror films everyone thought was the best? And which horror films everyone thought was the worst? This includes all those straight-to-video releases as well. Also, if you see another film that was released this year that you haven't seen yet, once you see it let us know what you thought about it here. Whether it ranks in your worst or best of 2001.
Also, check the DVD section for the Best and Worst of horror DVD's to be released in 2001.

I'd say the best overall, would have to be Ginger Snaps.

haven't seen ginger snaps yet so will go with Hannibal. Still get shivers at what he did to Ray Liotta at the end. .

Ginger Snaps is the BOOOOOOOOOOMB! People. When was the last time you blood sucking, flesh eating, head decapitating, brain splattering maniacs seen someone fall onto a picked fence, which went straight through? Hell Night? Yea. Real horror product! For real!  |

I would like to add on to the Best of 2001. The Convent is definitely one of the best films to be released in 2001.

2001 just keeps getting better and better. Another one that just came out that is definitely one of the best horror films of 2001 is the new Dario Argento film, Sleepless.

I liked Hannibal, especailly liked the scene where he fed the guy his own brain....
haven't seen The Others yet, but it's definitely one I want to rent...

The Others is a really good ghost story. I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to getting the DVD whenever it comes out.

I just heard that The Others made 100 million and Nicole may be up for an Oscar for it. To be honest the previews didn't look like it would be THAT great to me. I do want to see it of course, but the 13 Ghosts remake looks better. Which did you guys like better?
