Angel 11/5/01

Spoilers for those of you who haven't seen it yet.

Well, I had missed the first 30 minutes of it so I'm not sure what all happened during that time.  I caught the last 30 minutes and they were excellent.  Angel is getting better and better every week.  It was great to finally see what Darla's baby really was, and Wesley made a good point.  Angel plays a key role in the end of the world but they never said how.  Being the father of whatever that is could be it.  But knowing Joss Angel will have more of a role then just that.  For a second I thought Angel was going to stake Darla, but that would make them have to find a different story for this season.  Angel didn't stake Darla once he heard the heart beat and knew that it had a soul.

What was up with that dude that came from the statue?

Next week's episode looks to be an even better one.  It looks like the baby will be coming.

So, if anyone caught the first 30 minutes, could you explain what happened?

i saw the entire episode, but i had a few distractions. i'll try to explain who that dude is. the show opened with a flashback of the days when darla and angelus were together. that guy cabtured angelus and wanted to torture the demon out of him. it seems that angel killed this guy's family. the guy was working with a bunch of monk types. during the torture, darla broke in with a few other vamps and saved angel. i must have missed how that dude got in the statue.
you also missed a great scene where fred tells angel that he obviously loves cordy, and when angel tryed to tell cordy he did, she mistook it for friendship love and got the entire gang to yell that they loved angel too.

the show is getting better with each episode. i'm gonna be on the edge on my seat every monday night waiting to see how this whole thing plays out with the baby and all.

Yeah, I saw that scene.  Then as soon as Darla bit Cordy she started having a vision.  Finally in the past few episodes Cordy is using her visions.

Last season started to drag out with Angel being moody.  This season is just getting better and better. I think this may be the best season of Angel so far.  At least in this season they are finally talking about the end of the world.  Last season they may have mentioned it once or twice.  This season it appears to be one of the themes of the show, along with Darla's baby and stuff.

But yeah, this is going to be a very interesting season.

I saw the whole ep too but didn't see how the guy got in the statue either so hopefully they will explain it.  I'm glad that Fred is over her crush on Angel to be able to point out to him how he and Cordy make a good couple.  Boy, you'd think with 250 years of experience Angel would know how to flirt alittle better huh?  Acted like a 12 year old lol.  Cracked me up though!  Also liked how Wesley stood up for Fred when Angel yelled at her.  And loved the scene where she asked about a family tree when Darla first came in.  This season is the best to me.
