This two part season finale was by far the best episode Buffy has had this season. Willow totally snapped and she seemed beyond help. It was good to see Giles return and he sure was powerful. I was hoping it would have something to do with his new show Ripper. Oh well, maybe next season they will explore what all went on with Giles in England. It's about time Dawn does something, and it was hilarious seeing Willow point out how Dawn is with all the complaining. Maybe this is the first step into that rumor of Dawn the Vampire Slayer. Though I think that would be useless if they used that idea. It needs to remain Buffy. I loved the ending with Xander saving the world! Without Xander the world would have ended. He is needed more than most people suspect I guess. He has sufferend enough from Anya. She needs to forgive him. Also, that ending really gets me excited about next season. Spike has a soul now? This should be interesting, though it's been done before. Angel has had a soul for a long time now and we've known that he is a vampire with a soul since Season 1. Oh well, seeing Spike with a soul can be a new change I guess considering the fact that Angel was always brooding. It will be interesting to see how Spike reacts with his soul. This episode has renewed my interest in Buffy. It's good that this season wasn't a total waste. This episode saved the entire season. Sure Season 6 isn't the best season, but it's far better than Season 4. This was a great season finale and I would go as far as to say it's one of the better ones. Now I'm looking forward to both Angel and Buffy next season. Too bad Buffy is scheduled to end at Season 7. What did everyone else think of this Season finale and Season 6 all together?

ok, it was definitely a surprise to see the wimpy Xander save the world this time, but it does make sense... he and Willow were always close. and Spike getting a soul?? definitely NOT what he expected and what a twist--I didn't see that coming.. thought they were going to make him human somehow. hope this doesn't completely ruin his bad boy quality though! although he has shown more compassion this season than I thought was possible for him. I didn't know this was scheduled to end with season 7; hope they change their minds...

Well, as for right now they haven't yet made plans to renew it after Season 7, but hopefully they do. I think next season is going to be very interesting. Willow killed a human being, how is she going to live with herself? Spike is human, is he going to be all brooding and depressed like Angel? Plus if he has a moment of true happiness will he lose his soul like Angel does? Or since Spike had to earn his soul back because he wanted it then if he is happy will he still keep his soul? Since Angel was forced to take his soul back. Next season should be very interesting and I hope that Giles is back for good.

Ken is so right. This ep saved the whole season. I also loved that Xander saved the world. What I loved about it was that out of all the Scooby's, he's the only one with no supernatural powers at all. It was so cool!
I think Spike will be human, not just a vampire with a soul. I think it would be interesting if he became what he was before he was a vampire....a whimpy, sensative, loser. I think that would be very interesting.

I think it would be better if he does become human since the vampire with a soul story has been used. Still, this was the perfect ending for Season 6 and I think Willow would have to be one of the more emotional villains that Buffy would fight. I mean, sure she had to kill Angel, but she's known Willow for so long now and Willow is her best friend. It's good that everyone survived. Next season will be interesting.

I'm not sure if Spike actually expected to get his soul back or if he was expecting to get de-chipped. He kept saying to be put back the way he was so he could give Buffy what she deserved. He said it angrily so I assumed he meant de-chipped so he could wreck more havoc in her life. But maybe he meant a soul all along and he was just angry at himself for messing up so badly with her?? I just don't know.... And until I read this I never even thought about his being entirely human again! I hope not! I'd still rather he be a vamp with a soul too, but I wouldn't be surprised if you are right and he's human now. As long as he doesn't become all poetry spouting wimpy again. I do want to see him lose himself in grief briefly (hopefully in front of Buffy) over all the people he's killed. But NOT turn broody over it. Grieve and get over it! Although I don't like Xander. I'm glad he was the one who got through to Willow. And I LOVED seeing Giles again ;D

Spike has really been acting more human lately anyway. So even though he's got his soul back I don't think he's going to care for the ones he's killed anyway because he's acted as if he's had a conscience for quite some time now. I think that if they make him a vampire with a soul, he'll be different than Angel because he had to earn his. I think that the moment of pure happiness won't make him lose it like Angel would. I guess maybe Spike will be a cross between William and Spike. I'm looking forward to finding out next season what happens.
