This isn't a horror movie but it was still pretty good.  It is also based on a true story.

Stars Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Rick Schroeder

Rick Schroeder is a student who's mother is driving him crazy and who has a teacher that fails him.  He goes pyscho and goes on a rampage through the school.

Henry Winkler is the negotiator from the Sheriff's Dept.  He seems to be a little inept at the beginning but does a terrific job of talking to Schroeder as the movie goes on.

All in all a good movie.

Freddie Prinze makes me want to gag, but I do like Schroeder now that he's grown up and of course Winkler is a good actor.  These kind of movies are so hard to watch knowing they're based on fact and so many kids are going beserk in school.
