Need Help with a Movie Title

I remember seeing this film many years ago.  It was probably 10 or 15 years since I saw it.  Well from what I remember there is this family, I guess, that are trapped on this boat in the middle of a lake.  Well they can't go anywhere and there is this black water around their boat, trying to eat them.  Well from what I remember it gets them one by one until there is one guy left, who then ends up jumping over the black water and swimming out to land.  He out swims the black thing in the water, but when he gets onto land the thing jumps out of the water and eats him.

That's pretty much all I remember from it.  I just watched The Blob this evening and it reminded me of it.  Anyone know what movie it is?

That sounds a lot like Creepshow 2. But I looked on your site and you had already reviewed it.

The second story about the group of teens that are on a raft and they are all trapped by this black blob of water after them and it eats them one by one until there is one guy left. And when he makes it to the land he is all yelling at the creature until the thing comes out from the water and attacks him.

Otherwise I'm not sure, sorry Ken. That's just what it reminds me of.   That's the only movie I can think of.

Maybe it is Creepshow 2.  I didn't review Creepshow 2, someone else did.  So maybe it is.  Thanks, I'll have to rent the movie and check it out.

I remember in the movie, I think it was some blonde haired guy that is screaming at that black blob in the water when he made it to land, then it comes out and gets him.

Excellent! It turns out that Jonny did the review for Creepshow 2.  I read the review and he says that the movie isn't any good.  Oh well, I saw it like 10 years ago so I don't remember whether or not I liked it, just that I didn't remember what it was.  8)  I need to rent it and check it out though.

It's not as good as the original Creepshow movie. But it's still worth watching. The story you were talking about, story 2, that's a good one.

That's been a favorite of mine for a long time.
