I voted for Halloween as well. I wouldn't consider the original Psycho a slasher, but the sequels are.

I think the most famous is "F13th series"because everyone who isn't even a horror fan knows who Jason is but if u ask some one like over here in Puerto Rico you ask who Michael Myers is they don't even know who he is but if u mention the movie they remember ,kids in school are all @ssholes  Im the only horror freak in school |

"phsyco " may be a slasher film, but Psycho isnt. It's a mystery--not enough gore or corpses. Read what Hitchcock had to say about it!

Psycho is mroe of a mystery horror film. A slasher is usually when a killer is stalking and killing off people, yes norman does it but not enough for me to call it a slasher.
