Alien series count as Sci - Fi? If so I'll choose them.

love scifi and combo scifi horror movies. For regular scifi, Star Wars is a classic. For combo ones I'd go with Aliens, #2 being my fav of the series. Ripley kicks ass and Hicks is nice on the eyes lol. Course he was great as Reese in Terminator too. Wonder if they'll do a 4th some day? VampyreFemale - we have Rocky Horror Picture Show on tape and watch it all the time. Someday we'll go to a midnight viewing for fun. have you participated in that?

Interesting, many fans overlook this one and go with the first. I enjoyed ESB for 2 reasons, it was darker and more foretelling of Luke's descent into the darkside (have you read any of the books on the continuing adventures, some (not all) are very good imo), and the other reason I liked it was the classic scene with Han about to be frozen in the carbonite (sp?). Leia "I love you" Han "I know" (perfectly in character for this type of guy) Now if only we can find poor Max Rockatansky a new woman

I never realized how many sci-fi movies I actually like!
My faves would be Robocop, Terminater, the Road Warrior movies, All the Star Trek movies, the first Alien movie. I liked Independence Day too.
I haven't seen The Thing in years, but I remember really enjoying it.
