horror and porn.....together at last

Independent horror films are a dime a dozen these days, but sometimes we get news on one that just stands out from the crowd. Is it because of the plot? No, not really. The effects? Wrong again. Maybe the director/producer? Oh, no.

It's the cast.

Namely Richard Greico and some porn stars.

You read right; Richard "motherfucking" Greico, along with Jenna Jameson, Ginger Lynn Allen, and Chasey Lain (whom the Bloodhound Gang wrote a very touching song about) are all set to star in a new horror film called 'Samhain'. The plot is basic and overused, but the cast....well, you're never going to see a more interesting group of people together in one film, that's for sure.

I suppose the plot's not that overused, just certain elements of it. 'Samhain' is the story of a group of young Americans who move into a beautiful cottage to study the ancient myths of Samhain (the festival, not the band), along with assorted other Celtic legends, but soon learn that there is a clan of incestuous cannibals living in an abandoned copper mine near by.

Incestuous cannibals. That's a new one on me.

I would say if they didnt add the porn it problay would have gotten a wide release instead of direct to video?

not yet. i spoke to the director a couple of months ago and they were still doing post production. he told me he'd get back to me when they had new info and i haven't heard anything. last time i checked too their site hadn't been updated lately either.
