Well, as you all know a while back I mentioned that All Horror Movies.com is taking the next step and getting its own server. Well, for the past couple of weeks I've actually had the site up on the server, but I need to redirect the URL. Well to do this I need a thing called a registry key, and when I was checking my old e-mails about my URL I noticed Yahoo/Geocities never did send me the key. So I've had to e-mail them about it, and what do you know, I've sent them 5 e-mails. They responded after the second one saying that I have to give certain information for security reasons. I've sent them 3 more e-mails since and what do I get? No reply about my registry key. Instead I get an e-mail saying that on April 6, 2002 (which is the one year date that I purchased the URL) they are going to automatically charge me for another years worth of service. Well, after I e-mailed them back letting them know that I don't want to renew the URL with them because I've already renewed it with CWI, the service that gives me full control of my own server. But Geocities doesn't seem to want to give me my information so I can move the URL over. What are your thoughts on the way Geocities is acting? Any suggestions on what I can do? I've noticed that e-mailing them a number of times doesn't seem to work. And I know that I want, and I'm sure you all want to see All Horror Movies.com take the next level and move to the new server.
I also want to say that once on the new server, there will be so much space that the site can only grow. I have so much multimedia to add, you all will love it. So, any suggestions on what should be done?
