I have yet to see these films, would you recommend me checking them out? Which one should I see first? Also, are these films horror or just mainly action films?

There nto horror at al, they are action films. I recomend Road Warrior and Mad Max, beyond the thunderdome is pretty horrible.

Definetly check them out. The Road Warrior is my personal favorite of all time. Mad Max is Awesome and Beyond Thunderdome is my least favorite, but that's still saying a lot. Great movies!

Ken, i'm surprised that you haven't seen them!
The guys are right, the first 2 are good, and Thunderdome kinda sucked. They are futuristic action movies.

I may have to rent them sometime then.
You shouldn't be all that surprised, the local video store around here sucks. They finally got Mad Max for rent now that the new DVD had came out. Before then it was never there. Most of my movies I have to just buy them before I see them otherwise I don't see them at all.

You know where I stand on this. Monster said it perfectly. The Road Warrior is the best movie ever!!!!! Thunderdome had some humor in it which took away from the apocalyptic horror feel of the series, but I still liked it of course.
