I absolutely loved this movie! 1990 with Lance Henriksen based on Edgar Allen Poe's work, it was a study in sexual repression (the Grand Inquisitor's) and how it came out in perverted horrible ways on himself and the innocent victims he claimed needed purification during the Spanish Inquisition. But did anyone else here want to slap that women for not keeping her mouth shut during the execution. Back then to be noticed was to be tortured.
