missed Charmed on 2/14

well, I missed this one... my sister showed up at the door to give the kids Valentine's Day gifts and invited us to a last minute family dinner. needless to say in the process of getting everyone ready, we forgot to set the VCR and got home when it was almost over.. Max, I'm hoping you can tell me what I missed since it seems we are the only ones who watch this one... please!! gotta know if Cole told Pheobe about having the Source's powers...

I wish I could tell you that you missed a boring one.... but you didn't     Phoebe cast a spell to find out if she should marry Cole.  As you know, he's been acting strange lately due to having the Source's power.  

The spell caused Phoebe's future (70 yr old) and past (10 yr old) selves to come into the present.  The 70 yr old took one look at Cole and slapped him across the face.  

The Seer (who worked for the old Source) sent assasins to kill young Phoebe (thereby killing present Phoebe, because the Seer wants Cole to turn bad again), but Cole protected young Phoebe.  

Old Phoebe would not tell present Phoebe anything about the future for fear it would change things.  During all this, Cole is making sure that no one knows he has the power because he's afraid naturally of losing Phoebe.  

Old Phoebe catches him using the power and she wasn't at all surprised and she decided to tell him what happened.  He and Phoebe never married because he lost control of the power and became the next Source and the Charmed ones had to kill him.  If he had been honest with them about it, they may have been able to save him.  

The assasins show up again, and this time Old Phoebe let's herself die while saving Cole's life. Present Phoebe sees it as an omen that her future self must love Cole or she wouldn't have sacrificed herself.  It's the truth....she never stopped loving him, but she never told Present Phoebe what happened so it's up to Cole to come clean.  

Phoebe decides to accept the marriage proposal once and for all, but asks Cole one last time to be completely honest with her and tell her if there is anything she should know about.  Of course he's still scared and doesn't say anything about the Source's power and tells her everything is fine.  She decides to trust him.  

So in effect, the Old Phoebe died for nothing and Cole is still on the path of destruction.

thanks Max!!! I still can't believe I missed this one... of all the ones to miss.... but now I know what happened! have to hope Cole will wise up and confess though...
