So what did you think after weeks of re-runs? I liked some elements......namely Spike "exercising". How did they get his ear to move like that, probably blue screen I'm guessing. I'm shocked his ego can stand not throwing it in the gang's faces that he's shaggin the slayer. And I'm glad she finally decided to get over herself and be happy to be alive. I'm surprised Buffy didn't yell at Jonathan about saving his ass more than once now that she knows he's one of her..oooooo sooo scary arch-nemesis'. I hope they give up on that premise soon and bring in a real villain. The show has enough comic relief already IMO.

taped it because hubby was out of town. watched it twice already... loved the scene where Spike was excercising too, Max. really nice eye candy.. thought for sure Xander would figure out that Buffy was there when Spike was swatting at nothing...

Xander is a dumb ass. Sorry if any of you are Xander fans, but I just don't really like his character much and he does nothing for me in the drool department so it's easy for me to dismiss him. Apparently a lot of other people don't like him either because he is often beat up/tortured/and raped in fan fiction.

hey, Max, he's kind of cute, in a puppy-like way... but Spike doesn't have to worry about any competition from him, that's for sure!!

this ep. was entertaining, but, of course, the following week was a rerun. when will it ever end? i'm tired of the reruns so early in the season.

Well, it's been almost 2 weeks and I finally got around to watching this episode. It was entertaining, but that's about it. There have been far too many stand alone episodes this season. Where is this season going? Is Willow going to be the big bad or not? Is there going to be something else? I think this is episode 11. Well that would make it the half way point and I'm still wondering what's going on. Last season we knew who Glory was early on didn't we? Is Season 6 going to be another Season 4? The episodes have been entertaining, but it's just not the same Buffy as I'm used to.
Also, I just got the first season on DVD and I've been watching those. It's amazing as to how much this show has changed since then.
Anyway, this season needs to pick up. Angel is at the half way point and there hasn't been a bad episode yet, in fact each episode has been great. Now Buffy hasn't really had a horrible episode, it's just that they don't seem to be going anywhere. With Angel we know there is Wolfram and Hart and Holtz after Angel. Buffy has had something different every week. With that 2 hour season opener, this season really was showing potential. If this season isn't going to go anywhere, then maybe they should have just ended it with the wonderful season 5?
Oh well, overall this was an entertaining episode. But with all these reruns and shows that really aren't leading to anything, I'm starting to question where it's going. Anyway, it's time it picks up and lets us know what's going on.
