Angel 12/10/01

Spoilers for those of you who haven't yet seen it.

This was another pretty good episode.  It started out kind of slow and a bit cheesy.  Angel making those faces got a little annoying, but they added to the comedy of this episode.  The episode later developed into something I thought turned out pretty good.  I liked how at the end of this episode Angel walks into that guys office and cuts his face, taking charge.  Overall I thought this was a good episode.

Seems like next week will be a rerun.  I'm not sure on which one it'll be though.

Next week is a repeat with the "old" vamp after Angel cuz he killed his vamp girlfriend.  Buffy is another repeat too next week      I was very annoyed with all the baby faces plus the fact that he wouldn't let anyone else hold the baby.  And no-one (except wolfram & hart) even mentioned the huge and totally against vampire character sacrifice that Darla made for her child.  I thought they would have said something redeeming about her.  I've seen so many switch the baby moves that I knew the minute he went into the mine that he didn't really have the baby with him.  Although I was calling him a selfish bastard for leaving his friends to possibly die in the hotel.  Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I wonder if the cut on the baby's face right after birth is going to develop into something weird later.  His choice of godfather was perfect though lol.

it was another good episode. i got to see plenty of lorne, he's one of my favorite characters now.

i'm getting so sick of repeats so early in the season.

but why isn't the baby a vampire??
although it did seem to like Angel as a vampire.

thats a good question. i think it's because angel is the only vampire with a soul, so he could father a child that isn't a vampire.

And apparently the mother being a true vamp doesn't count unless that 1/2 of his parentage is gonna come into play later in the series.
