Not sure if these are considered scifi or not. Take place in the future and not real horror so I'm putting it here lol. I have to people cuz these are the movies I worship ;D So anyone else like them? Which of the 3 was your fave? And Bella..... he is still trapped in the bottle with me

i love the mad max movies, even thunderdome.
mel was at his best in the road warrior.
being that these movies are taking place in a futuristic time, i do think these movies are considered sci-fi action.

He was almost too young/innocent looking in Mad Max 1, but by Mad Max 2 -The Chase Continues (renamed The Road Warrior for American audiences) he was an established Australian star. Many hard-core MM fans wish they had never made Thunderdome because of it's part cheesiness, but I don't agree. It was still good but in a different way. Of course the long hair in the beginning helped to me lol. Part 2 will reign supreme with most fans though. And movie critics all agree it has the best chase scene EVER filmed to this day. "Warrior Woman" went on to star in Farscape.

I love the MadMax movies. The Road Warrior is the greatest film ever made. And the new Mad Max DVD, with the original voices has made a great movie even greater. What do you think of this new one they're talking about? I read it takes place past Max's time. What's up with that?

The last tidbit of info I heard on MM4 was that Gibson MAY have a cameo in it (he better!!), but it was going to follow the son of Max around and the actor being considered the most for the part is Brendan Fehr from Roswell. If you watch Roswell at all, he is not toooo bad of a choice imo, as he looks good with the long light brown hair he wears on the show and he's not toooo cutesy to look at from a female point of view. I am interested in finding out who the mother is supposed to be and if she'll be in the movie too. If you've read all 3 books like I have, I just can't imagine Max being with another woman after Jesse died (except me )..... but hey, he is a guy after all ;D It can't be someone we've seen because "Warrior Woman" died (you see her in Farscape?), Entity despises Max, and the oldest "lost" girl went on to the city in the plane without him, something I thought shouldn't have happened. I liked how she was stubborn and fought with him. I don't have DVD yet, but I got the first movie with original dialog on VHS from EBAY straight from Australia along with the first 2 books. The 3rd book and 2 other movies can be easily bought in the U.S. I even went nuts and bought the action figure with the dog. Luckily my man tolerates my "obsession" with Max lol.

I wanted to get the figure too but haven't for lack of funds. I didn't even think of buying the books before but I will now. I'm glad that MM4 will be related to the others. I guess it had to be but I wondered.
