Well, I just got to see this episode tonight because I had recorded it yesterday.
I thought this was a decent episode. It was at times funny. It wasn't what I had expected it to be. They tried to throw in some Angel references there with Spike when he thought he was a vampire with a soul. I really didn't expect to see Giles leaving in this episode. I hope he comes back next season. It seems like Tarah is leaving as well.
Next week's episode looks excellent. Willow is turning Amy back into a human. It's about time. How long has she been a mouse now? Since season 2? Well next week Xander also agrees that Willow is going a bit overboard with her powers. Buffy and Spike seem to have something between them now as well. It should be an interesting episode next week.

this episode had some funny parts, thats true, but i'm finding this season to be not so good. i'm loyal though, so i'm sticking with it till the end. i wish the angel refrences would stop! i don't find them funny, just annoying. i loved it when guiles and spike thought they were father and son! that was the funniest part of this episode. i admit i cryed when tara was leaving. it really got to me when i saw how dawn reacted. when disussing this ep. with my man, we really think that out of the 3 women dawn lives with, tara would be the most nurturing and motherly. willow is too wrapped up with the magic, and buffy's been out of sorts. so loosing tara should be a big blow to dawn. she lost her mother, guiles, a fatherly type is gone again, and now tara. i hope joss uses this to the shows advantage and we see more dawn acting out antics.

I thought this ep was very funny, especially with the Giles & Spike thing, when they hugged I was laughing so hard I was crying. Also the bunnies that Anya is deathly scared of. They certainly explained that kiss between Giles and Anya well with this ep. I think you're right Bella that Dawn is going to be rocked emotionally again with Tara leaving. But because I don't really like her immature character that much I hope that Joss doesn't do too many eps of her rebelling. Amy coming back finally is great because she was very powerful, she turned herself into a rat during the Gingerbread (season 3) ep when the adults were trying to burn them at the stake for witchcraft. I think she will be a bad influence on Willow using too much magic and getting out of hand (like the commercial showed). I wanted to bitch-slap Buffy upside the head when she was sitting at the bar and Spike tried to talk to her. But then I forgave her when it showed them making out in the corner. I just hope she isn't using him for comfort only and really does care about him.

Spoilers for this week's episode!
Ok, you all know that Amy is finally returning. But another thing that happens this week is that Spike's chip is smashed. So Spike is able to kill again. We will see this week if he goes back to his old vampire ways or stays as a Scoobie.
