Angel 10/29/01

Spoilers for those of you who haven't yet seen this episode.

I thought this one was a really good episode, possibly the best one this year.  This season of Angel is getting better as it goes by.  I'm glad they finally showed us who/what that guy was that Angel freed from the fire.  Another plus about tonight's show was that Cordy finally had another vision.  So I guess she still has those things.

Next week's episode looks really good.  Darla is going to let Angel know about her baby.  It should be interesting.

What a similarity to the guy last night and his family and the real life Kennedy Clan (except for the demon part lol).  I was expecting Lilah to say something in reference to Angel about how they made out on his desk.  When Wesley snapped at Fred about lieing while he was looking through the microscope I was really pissed off wondering why they would turn his character into a dink.  I'm so glad it was because he was contaminated too.  I wonder if his crying behind the door at the end has something to do with his childhood upbringing.  And that's why he was so freaked out about it.  Chasing her through the hotel with the ax brought back images of Jack chasing his wife through the Overlook hotel in the Shining.  I CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEKS EP WITH DARLA!!!

I had that same feeling when Wesley was chasing Fred.  That Shining reference was excellent.  I am really looking forward to seeing what they do with this season.
