Buffy 10/16/01

Has anyone else seen tonight's Buffy?  This post will contain spoilers for those of you who haven't yet seen it.

Well, I thought it was a decent episode.  The show seems a little more depressing now though.  We can tell that Buffy is really hurting and really seems to hate being back.  I think this episode hinted at what's to come for the new big bad.  I've heard the rumors since last season that the new big bad will be Willow.  And tonight we saw that Giles made Willow mad and she said "I am very powerful and you really don't want to piss me off."  or something like that.  Also, it was nice to see Giles back.  Though I don't think we can expect him in ever episode.  This season is dealing with adult issues more now.  Next week's episode Buffy has to get a job.  After seeing the ending of it with Angel calling her, it leads one to think that there will be a crossover, but sadly since they can't do that all the crossovers are taking place offscreen.  Anyway, who were those 3 guys?  I remember that one guy who made the robot.  I think I remember the short guy, but I can't remember what episodes he was in and what he did.  And as for the third guy, I don't remember him in any episodes.  Anyway, it was a decent episode and I'm looking forward to seeing next weeks.  They did a lot of advertising for the Musical that is coming up November 6th.  I hope they don't mess up the show by making it a musical.  Hopefully they'll work it into the story somehow.

your right ken, it is depressing, and moving too slow. i liked seeing guiles also!  it seemed like willow wasn't totally in control when those words came out of her mouth.
i have no idea who that other guy is. maybe max does.
does anyone remember zena princess warrior's muscical episode?  it was awful! i hope they don't do that to buffy!
i don't like the dark, gloomy buffy.
btw, if buffy's having money trouble, why the hell don't willow and tara pay up! they live there! can anyone say..room and board?  i realize it's just a tv show, but i think of these things when i'm watching. guiles should give buffy a loan, he's got the cash!

I agree. Willow and Tara should pay some rent.  I've heard a few things big are going to happen in some episodes though.  Some very important episodes this year are 7, 11, and 13.  I've heard bits and pieces of what's going to happen in them.  And it isn't going to be pretty, that's for sure.  Though as of right now I think they are just rumors.  I'm not exactly sure if they are the final word or not.  But if anyone wants to know what I've heard I'll post it in another post.

I'm not looking forward to seeing the musical episode either. I think it could be a waste of a show.  But hopefully it won't be that bad.  I hear that Oz is returning for the Halloween episode.  That should be pretty sweet.

oz returning? that will be sweet! he should become a reg again.
i mean what has seth green really done since he left the show? a few not so popular movies, a network sitcom that was cancelled, and a nickelodeon show where he supplied the voice of a talking dog.
seth needs to rejoin the buffy cast!

I agree, he should return as a regular.  Though if he did return he should do more then what he used to.  I think adding a werewolf to the cast would be good. I mean, we already have a vampire, an ex-demon, a couple of witches, a key, a normal guy, a slayer and a Watcher. It's time to get a werewolf back in the group.  But from what I've heard he's only going to be in a few episodes at most this year.

I'd love to see Oz back too.  Tara and Willow may be happy together but it would still mess with Willow's head if Oz were around.  Re:  the three doofus guys, I do know the short darkhaired one Jonathan from the Earshot ep where Buffy saved his life and last season or maybe it was season 4 he did the spell where he was the perfect man in the world and everyone adored him.  Buffy also saved his ass in that one too so I don't think he will really harm her when it comes right down to it.  He's a fool, but not a murdering fool I think.  I have to disagree with Bella on the Xena musical ep. because I actually enjoyed it.  I heard it was a big hit too.  I taped it and even bought the soundtrack CD.  The last song Xena sang on it about her murdered son almost made me cry lol.  I am very worried about the Buffy musical coming though.  BTW Ken, I enjoy reading spoilers so spoil away as much as ya want as far as I'm concerned.
