If there's one thing 'Resident Evil' managed to accomplish for me it's to prove that Hollywood can fuck up anything. When even the simplest concept like zombies taking over an underground research facility turns into a virtually unwatchable soundtrack with pictures, what hope do we have? Once again, we look towards the foreigners. I will admit, I wasn't to psyched when I read they were making a 'House of the Dead' movie. It's a game with a paper thin plot, how much could the movie have? Turns out it doesn't matter, since director Uwe Boll's recent comments to Arrow In The Head have made me feel a lot better about it getting done:
A: Can we expect lots of gory goods? In your opinion, what will be the gore highlight of the film?
U: We have over 15 exploding heads, people are cut in half or fighting headless. We basically show what "Resident Evil" didn’t show.
Yes. If you're going to make a zombie movie, and you at least want to the give the impression you give a fuck about the genre, then from now on you have to point out something you're doing right that 'RE' did wrong. That's a new rule, I just made it up.
thanx to cc for the info

Great news! But by the looks of the teaser, it looks like it could suck.

I'm sure the movie was crap too. I never even took the time out of my day to go and see it.
