The webmasters at the All Clive All The Time website called Revelations (check it out), recently got a second or two with the man to find out what he's up to as of late. Here's what they found out:
-The film version of his comic 'Saint Sinner', which seems to be an adaptation in name only, is set to begin production in May with a $4 million budget.

-'Weaveworld' is set for pre-production to begin in September in either Australia or Ireland

-The ' Damnation Game' and 'Bloody Mary' scripts have been turned into the studios (Warner Bros. and Touchstone, respectively)

-The 'Tortured Souls' film is on the "fast track" at Universal

-'Ecto Kid' is being worked, slowly, by the kid-lovers at Nickelodeon

-Clive's currently on the second book of 'The Abarat Quartet', which are going to be turned into movies by Di$ney in case you didn't know

-The third Book of the Art is being written as I type this

Damn. We can only assume that Clive is having minimal involvement with the film adaptations, but as long as he sticks around the projects long enough to assure they don't turn to shit, I'm satisfied.

WEll if Weaveworld is as half as good as the book, itll be the most stunning visual movie ever.I always said itll make a great movie but it sould prolly cost a shitload.I just hope they dont let down with it cuz they have a great opportunity here.

I agree.  Weaveworld was the most amazing Barker book I've ever read, and I think it's cool that it's being finally being made into a movie. Same goes for Damnation Game.

Barker's making a tv show for kids?  That's shocking!

I find it so humorous that Universal didnt have the balls to release House of a 1,000 Corpses, but now they're doing a Tortured Souls movie.
